Kick Sledge Safari
Experience the heart of Geilo on an authentic and fun way while having a clean conscience concerning the environment. On this tour you will learn more about the history of Geilo and your own ability to manage one of most popular means of transportation in Geilo – the kick sledge. With a kick sledge you can achieve a pretty good speed, 9-12mph. is no problem!
Husky Safari
A husky safari can warm you up even on the coldest day - The experience is so magnificent that you forget the cold. You have to concentrate when managing your own team of eager dogs who love to run – fast! There will also be time to relax and enjoy the ride under a warm reindeer skin, when switching place with your dog sledge partner half way through the ride.
From Water to IceMusic
The ice may be creaking beneath your feet, but do not worry – it will not crack! Get the ultimate IceExperience2012 and witness the scenes behind the festival and see where the requisite natural resources for the ice music comes from. You might also have to lend a hand because fetching ice is not an easy job.
Ice Fishing
The keywords to this activity is wild nature, silence and intense excitement. A local guide will take you out on the ice and direct you to the perfect fishing spot. This is a nice way to get a IceExperience together with your loved ones, but remember – catch is not included.
Sleigh Tour
Wrapped in duvets and reindeer skins you sit warm and safe in the big old sleigh, and get to experience a winter evening in Geilo with the sound of bells and trotting, enjoy the winter landscape in the glow from torches and smell the scent of fresh air mixed with horse while the coachman tells all sorts of stories – true as untrue
Magical Moonlit SnowShoeTrip
If you appreciate adventures in the fresh air, then this is a trip for you! We take you on a journey into the enchanting winter landscape and let you get acquainted with the nature around you and if we get lucky we might meet a fox or a mouse on our way. The trip saturday night ends at Kikutkroa where there will be served mountain food before the concert. Mondays midnight full moon excursion will be unforgettable!
Flåmsbana (The Flåm Railway)
