Helder Neves: Born in Portugal, living in the Arctic. With his surname "meaning" Snow, it is no wonder he has a stong passion for the Ice Musc Festival!
He has graduated at the Architecture Faculty of Oslo and has a strong passion for ice and snow. Being a volunteer since 2008 and learning from the best artists ever since, this year he came to Geilo in an attempt to bring the Ice Music experience a step closer to the people. The 2011's stage took us on a tour between ice, snow, musicians and audience where the IceMusic became a visual matter, expanding the human senses. Strongly inspired by Terje's performance, the stage became a living instrument that perpetuated the show. For the first time we all have actually touched IceMusic. Listen to BBC interview [here].
